A Seemingly Unified Spectacle
Inspired by text from Rosalind Krauss's essay, "The Impulse to See", SPECTACLE uses abstract puppetry to envision and play out "Fantasmic Products", "shards of the inorganic", "transmutation" and "an endless pulse". It was developed through the Here Artist Residency Program and Dream-Music Puppetry NYC 2004-06. Also Supported by a Chashama Visual Arts Area Award and One Arm Red space residency. It premiered in 2006 to sold out houses at Here's Culturemart Festival. Video excerpt: A Seemingly Unified Spectacle is available for remount. | ||
